Our mission to bridge the digital divide and empower rural communities with affordable internet access.
From Idea to Implementation
How we're making digital connectivity accessible to rural India
Founded in 2020, GraminWifi started as a small initiative to provide internet access to remote villages in Maharashtra. Our founders recognized the growing digital divide and committed to creating affordable solutions.
In 2021, we became one of the first providers to implement the PM-WANI scheme, dramatically expanding our reach and impact across rural communities.
Today, we serve over 500 villages across 3 states, with plans to expand to 5 more states by 2024. Our network grows daily as we connect more rural Indians.
We aim to connect 1 million rural households by 2025 and become India's leading rural internet service provider, enabling digital empowerment across the country.
